Seasonville and Art Backyard’s 3rd Anniversary
We just celebrated its 3rd anniversary, and it was awesome! 🎉🎨
To mark the occasion, we worked for 2 months on a big project that later we called Seasonville. It’s an amazing cardboard city made by our students from recycled materials and cardboard. We made a lot of sketches, planning, and paintings to make it possible. It was fun and at the same time students learned how to create a plan, develop an idea, build a map, how to work in teams and make their ideas come true! Together we learn how to recycle, reuse and create something new out of things that we usually throw away.
For three whole years, Art Backyard studio has been a hub of creativity and fun. From making models of famous buildings and learning about their history to painting and sculpting, we've done it all and had a blast every step of the way. Every year we move forward and we have already grown from outdoor classes in my backyard to a welcoming school with several rooms hosting private and group classes. Now we have a mini-library with books about architecture and arts for kids. And a space for adults where you can work while waiting for kids and enjoy a cup of coffee.
