ArtBackyard brings immersive, hands-on learning experiences directly into schools through classes that integrate art, architecture, and design with core academic subjects. Our programs engage students in creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative exploration.
Through School Visits, young designers investigate the spaces they inhabit, exploring how architecture shapes their communities and daily lives. They sketch, model, build, and experiment—constructing dream homes, reimagining cityscapes, and designing eco-friendly solutions. Our students apply STEAM concepts in real-world contexts by building models of bridges, planning parks, and exploring urban design.
ArtBackyard partners with schools across Orange County to customize programs that align with curriculum goals, whether during the school day or in after-school enrichment.
